Have you ever been nervous about going to a new school or starting in a new class? Have you ever been worried about whether or not you’d fit in? Have you sometimes felt like others have judged you based on your appearance or background?

Whether you know what it’s like to be forced to leave your home and flee to a new country or not, most of us can relate to what it’s like to feel scared, to experience longing, and to wanting to be accepted for who we are and how we look. Together with UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency, Friends has created this website, a comic book, a film, and a theatre production accompanied by an inspirational ledture, that all have to do with these topics.

Every young person has the right to feel included, respected, safe and secure in school. You have an important part to play in making this a reality.

On this website you can read about your rights, find facts about migration, learn what bullying is and find out how we can work together and contribute to a safe, fair, and equal school experience for everyone.
